1962

UKIM Founded

UK Islamic Mission established as a national charity for worship, education, and interfaith dialogue

1986

Peterborough Branch Opens

Masjid Khadijah established in a small house on Cromwell Road, beginning nearly 40 years of service

2021

iCare Launches

Community Kitchen, Food Hub, Cemetery Preservation, and Youth Team programmes begin serving Peterborough

2022

BBC Award

Won BBC Radio Cambridgeshire "Make a Difference" Award for outstanding community service

2023

iCare Hub Opens

Community Hub opens, expanding capacity to serve over 20,000 people annually with food and essentials

2026

Unity Centre Bid Won

Successfully secured the New England Complex from Peterborough City Council
